After I ran software up-dates on my friends computer she lost her wireless connection. She currently is running Mac OS X version 10.4.11. Her wifi connection identifies itself by a 12 digit number. It appears on the preferred networks and shows up when I run available networks. But once I click on it the message comes up "There was an error joining the AirPort network... "She has a third party wireless router that is a open network through verizon. When I tried to connect her to my apple airport using my password it worked fine. What in the settings am I missing?
