I Have restored like 50 times and am now on the official 2.0.2 not jailbroken but when i get any apps from the app store it opens them and shows the first screen for like 5 seconds then quits. I have restored so many times but it does not help!!!.

I'm experiencing the same exact problem. I downloaded my first app on the iPod Touch, Koi Pond. The screen shows for a few seconds, then it crashes and takes me back to the menu screen. If anyone knows how to fix this, pls post!

Try doin a firmware upgrade NOT RESTORE.u need 2 b in dfu mode 4 this.also try uninstalling and re-installing itunes.
