Can only access a fraction of my pictures from PC

My wife transferred all of her pictures from iPhoto on her old mac to her iPad. There is about 4000 pictures. Now she wants to transfer them to her new pc, but the pc can only access five pictures from her photostream.

How can I transfer all of her pictures from the iPad to the pc, so she doesn't loose them?

I want to synchronise the iPad with iTunes on her new pc, but don't want to delete all the pictures on the iPad so that is why I want to transfer the first, and also for backup.

Hope you guys can help.
 
Anyone who can help me here? I could send all the pictures by email and then save them to the pc, but that would take ages.
Isn't there any way to save all the photos transferred to the iPad with iPhoto on a pc?
