I have a 500 gb Lacie external hooked up to my Airport Extreme basestation. This works flawlessly with Time Machine after the disk is mounted.
However, the external drive won't mount unless I unplug it and then plug it back in.
Is there another way to get it to mount automatically?
I normally shut off the iMac at night along with the Airport and external drive. In the morning I turn everything on. The Airport and internet work fine.
I am running the latest Airport Utility (5.3.1), AirPort Disk Utility (1.2.1), Leopard version (10.5.2), and firmware. I have enabled "Automatically discover AirPort Disks." I have tried restarting the iMac.
