Can only send/receive iMessage text

Hello,
Just upgraded to iphone 5, and i can only send/receive text to someone who also has iMessage.

I tried the Reset Network settings, still nothing.

I turned it on and off several times, still nothing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I know you need cellular data on for MMS that aren't iMessages. Texts would go over the voice channel. Are you having issues with the cellular signal?

Problem solved.

Just got off the phone with AT&T, they had to re-add texting to my plan.

Strange.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure how they could have dropped texting from my plan after I upgraded to the iP5.
