Dear all

Now I am staying in the university accommodation in the UK. I am not sure whether other persons, such as an accommodation officer, can sign to receive my shipment instead of me. I found that status of shipment which has shown that the date of 'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule' has been postponed for 3 days. This make me think that I may need to sign it myself, don't I? Moreover, I have no track number of a delivery carrier.

Please give me advice or idea about it.

Thanks for all replies.

Anyone at the address can sign… but how sure are you about the rest of the people at the address.

Home address is one thing, delivery to student halls another.

My shipping address will be sent to my flat directly in following to my order and my name is special for the accommodation officer because I often order something by online and also, my name is difficult to remember! :D

If you have given that other person a mandate (signed document that says he and only he can accept delivery on your behalf), then that one person can sign it for you.
