Hello, for the past two weeks, I have experienced that when I scrolled through a pdf file generated by TeXShop, Mac OS crashed. Usually, I saw thick bands of white blocks with some black lines across the screen and the cursor became a large block of white box. I could move the mouse and the white block moved accordingly. However, there was nothing else I could do except to reboot.

I viewed the same file under Windows 7 via Bootcamp. There was no problem. What do you think is going on? Unfortunately, due to privacy, I cannot show a screenshot of the document.

I am using a MBP 2010 17". Before updating to Sierra, it had happened a few times that I saw random colorful horizontal lines appearing across the screen.

Hope my laptop is not dying.
