I am curious how subtle the tapping is. I really hope it does not make noise. My Pebble makes a vibration when things come in that I can hear in the next room. It would also be great if the watch does not bother if it is not on a wrist. I can just imagine how loud that could be on the wrong table.

The young Billy Gates look alike on stage said, "People around you won't hear it or know you are getting alerted."

So I think it will be silent.

John Gruber always said that he hated Pebble vibration but love Apple Watch taptic engine. He tried it at September event and described it as more like someone tap you than the watch vibrated.

The Watch will stop notify you when it's not on your wrist.

I've just read on another thread that when you have an incoming call, the Watch rings. I how we can put that on silent like we can on an iPhone.

The watch has settings to mute that and you can also cover it with your hand and it'll reject the call

what happens if your watch is covered when you get a call? either by your clothing, arms folded etc,

will it remain on mute? or does it need to be uncovered and then covered again?
