Sure we can spend big $$ on a Waterfield Muzetto or Tumi bag, but I'd rather save the $250 after buying the ultimate 13 MBA.

So anyone have any recommendations on more economical cases/bags that work well with 13" MBA?

Also, how about a good quality leather manila envelope sleeve? Most on Amazon got bad reviews.

I'd even ebay a used bag/sleeve if I could find a good one.

Thanks!

i made one myself, cheap as hell

from my material it cost 20US$ less, i'm in 1nd0n btw

I'm impressed... pictures? Unfortunately, I'm not that talented and I am stuck having to buy a bag.

So any suggestions on more economical bags/sleeves for 13 MBA?

Brenthaven Trek.

They discontinued it for awhile, but it's popularity brought it back from the grave. I've had mine since the original MBA, and I'm still using it. Protects the contents VERY well. Rigid plastic on the big sides, and thick padding along all the edges, including under the zipper.

Lifetime warranty, weighs almost nothing, handle on top, a shoulder strap, a pocket with enough room for the charger, an iPhone, a sync cable, and a couple thumb drives. Even has a magazine pocket.

$30.

Thanks for the tip! Looks great.
I think I'm looking for something a little larger though. I like to be able to carry a couple more things, especially if it is my one carry-on on a plane.

if you are just looking for a sleeve, Tucano has a good one for $40. The Brenthaven Trek is more of a mini case, as it has a front pocket, isn't TSA-friendly, and has a flimsy handle. That said, it's not a bad case if that what you need.

stick with brenthaven but go prostyle sleeve. It's $40 but its xray friendly, has a pocket for iphone or other stuff. Really nice sleeve. It's what the incase sleeve for the air should be.
