I've had an iPhone 3G for about a month now, loving it! I've noticed ever since I've owned it though, I can see light from the LCD coming through the seam on the left hand side.

I've taken a couple of pictures which shows it somewhat. It's kind of annoying and takes away a little bit from its beautiful build quality. Is it normal? Manufacturing error? Can I pursue this with Apple at all? It did come like this.

Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my 3G, but its out of warranty, and its not as bad as yours. I suggest you go and get it replaced.

I called Apple and they are replacing the phone. Good service this company :)
