can skype for osx do wake up calls? anyone know a way

i found a guide for windows using scheduled tasks and such to do this but i cant find a work around for the osx version of skype
i just want to be able to set a time and have skypeout call my phone so the rigger will wake me up

Can't you just use your phone's inbuilt alarm clock

the rigger can be loud enough to wake me
and i have unlimited canada and us calling so it doesnt hurt me to call myself
i just want to know how to make it do it at a time i want
eg script skype to call my home phone at 5:00am or what ever time

You could try using iCal to open up Skype at a certain time every day, and then have it run an AppleScript that tells Skype to call you.

I, too, am confused as to why you really want to do this, rather than just having your phone wake you up with the alarm. You say the ringer is loud enough to wake you, and the phone alarm and ringer should be the same volume...
