Thanks in Advance

Correct me if I'm wrong, only Macs have this issue right? Or when you watch movies in the dark - the left, right and bottom of the screen always bleeds so much ambient light, always foggy haze light.

Take it back to Apple and exchange it !! There's absolutely no reason for you to put up with that, especially if you're within the return/exchange period!

It looks like the diffuser layer from your LCD has come loose and moved away from the glass, exposing the backlight LEDs. Backlight bleed on steriods.

I would also take it back.

Your are wrong. Light bleed affects most screens on some level. Macs are among the best.

Watching Homeland the other day- Carrie has these Dell screens she's always sitting in front of, with the huge Dell logos on the back. One of them has massive light bleed. Not a great advertisement.

This machine here needs to be exchanged.

Apple just called me , and this issue is a Hardware problem, so they are sending me another one

Of course its a hardware problem. I'm pretty amazed it took 5 posts till someone posted that this is light-bleed.

He got the HOLLYWOOD model. :D

My God men, at least nobody asked, Is This Normal?
