Can somebody help me with Maps in Mavericks?

Hi!

I installed Mavericks. Everything works except for maps. It doesn't even start.

I am using the beta 2, but still, Maps doesn't work. I unchecked the automatic video card switching and I also resolved the font conflicts, as I read in the forums. No luck.

I wonder if somebody could send me the Maps app only, to see if I can replace the one I installed. Maybe that will fix the problem?

Snap, got same problem. Nothing happens and then crashes if I try to switch to a different view type.

Absolutely no problems here with it on a mid 2011 iMac, using 10.9 Beta 2.

Where did you source your Beta? That could be the problem, if it's not from the Apple developers portal.

I would assume there is more to the Maps app than just the app itself, I would suspect it also has requirements behind the scenes that are intrinsic to Mavericks OS.

Sounds like a fail install. Use pacifist to reinstall it from the Mavericks installer.
