Hi,

I usually pride myself on being able to do things like this, and have read through the guides on how to jailbreak/unlock, but I think it is one of those things that you have to do it, before it makes alot of sense....

I am about to get my new 3g and wanted to ask....

1.Can I jailbreak/unlock my old original iPhone after it has been deactivated from the network...after I start using my 3G or does it have to be done before the new 3G gets activated.

2. Do you think that the 2.0/2.01 firmware would be more valuable to a customer than 1.14? What other things do you include on it to make it more valuable? Cydia, T-mobile stuff?

3. Can I jailbreak with a completely new Sim card in, or is it better to use your old one? I got new Sim cards in case there was a way to get our information off the old one.....

4. Once, I jailbreak/unlock mine is there an shorter process when doing my husband's phone?

Once again, sorry to ask pretty basic questions, but I just don't want to screw this up and my new phone came in a lot faster than I thought, so I have to make a decision. Thanks, Jen
