All iPads Can someone break down iPad ATT vs Tmob for me?

i'm planning to get a cellular iPad Air soon.

is the Tmobile 200mb/month free legit? or is it a scam? seen stories about $10 charges, etc.

if I get a Tmobile one from the Apple store, can I switch to ATT just by going in to the ATT store and getting a SIM from them? one of the "geniuses" at Apple told me no, but I suspect he was lying as per company policy.

200mb is free from tmobile and yes you can put in a AT&T sim

I use my AT&T Mini with T-Mobile all the time. They are all the same. You can even use a Verizon sim in the iPad as long as the sim card is already activated.

Is it possible to switch back and forth between the AT&T and tmobile sims? Would I need to reactivate or do anything other than just insert the sims? Thanks!

All you need to so is swap them. If you are running iOS 7+, the APN is set automatically when you insert a sim.

I saw a video that said that you had to go into settings and then reset and then reprovision account but I have never seen such a setting on my Mini running 7.0.4. It must have only existed in one earlier version of 7.X.X.
