One of the features of iOS5 is the led notification light. I don't see it on the Apple website for the 4 or 4S. Can someone check if its there/works? Thanks!:D

Yes it's there.

It's under Accessibility> LED flash for Alerts. Switch it on, and it will use your camera flash for alerts.
 
Hrmm, I tried it and it didn't work. Does it only work for alerts (and not banners)?

Not sure what you mean by that.

But mine flashes for emails, calls, texts, Google+ push notifications, AP app notifications, etc.

Totally grabs my eye too. Excited that if my phone is on silent I will still see an alert in case I can't hear it.
