I wanted to have some text with a transparent background and could find no way of doing it in Color picker, searching the web for a bit it seems that there should be an opacity slider.

I'm on 10.6.6 and was wondering if anyone out there could confirm whether they have the slider or have Apple taken it out?

ahh that'll explain it then, I was using iSale but tried Mail, Textedit and Pixelmator and no go in any, just tried iWeb and it shows it, so query solved.

It's not a major problem anyway, the text in iSale has a transparent background by default but I changed some by accident and couldn't figure out how to turn it back, I'll just have to be more careful in future :)

Thanks for your help
