Can someone explain how it works

I am going to get an SSD and put it in my HDD bay and the OEM HDD in the optical bay. I plan to put all the core files (application) in the SSD while iTunes (music, movies) and photos in the optical bay.

How will Time machine backup both SSD and HDD? Is there any setting i need to do? Do i have to rebuild the whole itune library and iphoto library?

should work for multiple disks.

You shouldnt have a problem doing this when setting up a time machine backup.
