Hey everyone, just got an iPad 2, want to download a book that is available on both kindle and ibooks. Question is, regardless of platform, how do the new in-app purchase rules affect kindle? Will kindle not be allowed to do in-app purchases? Will I then have to revert to ibooks? Can I copy the book from kindle->ibooks.

Basically I only want to use one bookstore/collection for all my future ebooks and would prefer it to be kindle, but will not do that if things are going to change for the kindle in the near future.

Thanks.

So far it hasn't. There is speculation floating around that Kindle may be exempt from requiring in App purchases.

It won't really work on the Kindle IMO. I mean, a lot of people already have the App so they won't need to upgrade to an Apple-approved one which allows in-app purchasing, and books can just be brought from Amazon directly through the browser then synced to the iPad.
