Can someone help me decide which 13" model I should get?

I mainly use my laptop for internet, word processing, and sometimes picture editing and stuff like that. Do you think the lower-end 13" MBP will be enough for me? Do both have the backlit keyboard?

Both have a backlit keyboard. I have the less expensive one and it does everything you mentioned... at the same time.

Get the lower end one, you won't notice the additional .26Ghz of CPU, save the $300. The ram and hard drive are easily upgraded later down the road. That is what I did and its a fantastic machine.

I would go for the lower end one. If you need, upgrade the RAM with 3rd party for cheap. Best deal for somebody with your needs.

+1 to low end one. You would be surprised how you wouldn't notice the speed difference for the stuff that you plan to use it for. You will, however, notice the extra $$ left in your pocket.
