Can someone help me fix WiFi issue?

iOS10:
I was able to turn off wifi from home screen and when I would come home turn it back on and get automatically connected to my home network.

iOS11:
I turn off wifi from home screen, I come home turn it back on and it DOES NOT connect automatically to my home network.

How do I fix this?

You're doing it wrong. And been covered in other threads.

Asuming when you say home screen, you mean Control Center. In v11, that button does not turn off wifi, it disconnects the phone from wifi. So, you are disconnecting from wifi when walking in the door.
