In the last beta, I could no longer choose screen saver pictures to come from my Photos Library.

I've double-checked this with various libraries, and it's just not an option that's now showing up.

(Yes, these are system Photo libraries)

Is this functionality in the final release? This is functionality I've used for a long time and losing it would be bad.

I understand this could be an odd configuration issue on my test Mac, but it worked flawlessly until the last beta.
 
Ah ha.

You need to explicitly share your photo library now for this to work.

Why, and why now, no idea. It was not necessary in earlier betas.

Go into Sharing prefs pane, then turn on Media Sharing checkbox, and then turn on Home Sharing.

Frankly, to me this is a bug, but oh well.
