First off, I apologize for starting a thread on a subject that is discussed very frequently on this board.

After reading through as many threads I could get my hands on, I THOUGH I had a clear idea of where and which RAM to purchase.

Then, I ended up on both Crucial and OWC website, used their memory finder and Voila!! I was confused again.

On Crucial's website, when I enter my model information, I am only given ONE choice for 16 GB 1333 Mhz RAM - There is NO option to get a 1600 or faster RAM, neither is there ANY link to the faster/more expensive Crucial "Vengence".

On OWC I have the same dilema - After entering model infor on OWC's Memory finder I am given ONE option to buy a 16 GB 1333 mhz RAM

I am looking for 1600 or faster RAM for my Early-2011 2.2 i7 17" MBP

If someone can post a direct link to the exact RAM I would really appreciate it.

Thank you
