i was trying to install leopard on my macbook pro and i got the message that i cant install leopard until i change the settings on my volume. so i went to the install menu and selected my startup volume to restart...however my computer will not reboot back into tiger.

at first i was not even getting a chime, and then i reset the pram and now im getting the chime again, but my computer will boot to the grey screen and the gear will spin but then my computer just shuts down.

i also tried starting in safe mode and it would not start in safe mode.

i was also able to start with command C and my hard drive was recongized
