Can someone please help!!

i Have a mac book pro and trying to complete a word doc for a major essay, and not very computer savy, i accidentally pressed control H and the doc has disappeared! I have tried to re open it from my saved usb but still nothing. Can someone please help!!!!

Just use cmd+tab to bring up the window you hid

yeah i tried that, and word doesnt open.

Open word with the USB drive connected.

Go to "File>Open recent" and look to see if your document is listed there. If it is, you should be able to open it.
