Can someone please provide me some information about Facebook application development? I am not technically Internet or technology savvy, but I have been advised by many people to take advantage of social media networks by creating custom applications. I assume this is a good idea, but like I said before, I dont know enough to make an informed decision. Thanks for any information you may provide.

yes, social media networking including Facebook is powerful enough to promote or grow up your business line,
what is your purpose in creating custom application on facebook?
custom application is only used for specific function or feature that are not provide by facebook.
In the first phase you might better to start creating a facebook page for your product or business, because you will need web programmer to create custom application.
