Hi,

We have made tremendous progress on the "Make Your Own 4870" path.

But we are still running into trouble with VGA.

I think that we need to have a scan of back of an OEM 4870 to help.

All that is important is that it be possible to read the circuitry numbers.

ANd we don't even need the whole card, just the small section of the back that I have included here as an example.

So if one of the lucky souls with a new Nehalem and an Apple 4870 could help us out, it would be great. This does NOT require taking anything apart other than removing card from machine.

(If you felt an urge to remove fan and do same area on front, I wouldn't be upset, but would be thrilled just for this piece)

If you don't feel like posting, please at least PM me.

Come on...Macs are owned by graphics pros. Somebody out there has a scanner and Photoshop and can do this image in under 15 minutes.

Not really asking much here.

I don't have a scanner and I don't have my MP yet, but if no-one else has posted by early next week, I'll take a photo of mine using a macro lens.

HTH.
