Is it possible to paste or insert an image into mail so that it is sent as a part of the message and not as an attachment? I was able to do this when I was using aol dial-up to compose emails, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to make mail do it. As an artist, I often have to email images to my clients, and some of them don't like having to open attachments.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not 100% sure that this will give you the desired results but have you tried just dragging the image or file over to the email message while it's open?

What you are looking for is HTML support.

Try saving a blank message as Stationary (insert a blank gif if you need) and send an email using that stationary, adding in your message and images as required.
