Hello, I am planning to sell my MacBook Pro, I'm in the UK and would like to know what you guys think is a reasonable and realistic sale-worthy price for eBay.

The reason I need your advice is because I have heavily upgraded the machine.

June 2012 / Mid 2012 Release 13" MacBook Pro
Purchased December 1st 2012

240GB SanDisk Extreme SSD
16GB Crucial 1600MHz RAM

Second Hard Drive Caddy
Seagate 500GB Thin HDD installed for extra storage

There are two minor marks on the outside of the laptop.

How much should I be looking?

Thanks

Well, it is $999 from edu store, so take around 80% of that since it is used (800), add around $150 for the SSD and $80 for the RAM (none for the obtibay HDD since it came with a 500GB HDD) and you get $950-1050. Take away about a hundred for the scratches.

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.
