I was messing around trying to change all of my default folder icons in one shot. I'm OS X Lion 10.7.4. I found that the default folder icon location was inside of these folders /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources... To change the icon for all default folders all i needed to do was get info for the DefaultFolderIcon.icns and change it's icon.. I accidentally deleted this file and now all of my default folders on my mac are just white pieces of paper... I've tried undoing and creating a new DefaultFolderIcon.icns file with the correct icon inside of that directory but no luck.. How can I get my my folder icons back?
