You can use the screen calibration tool accessible through
System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate...
adjusting the white balance of the display may push the colors towards the "cool" end of the spectrum (which is the difference you are seeing. The LG displays are a cooler white, and the Samsungs a warmer white). In the end though, there is only so much you can do. It will always be warmer than the LG screen.
I started with an LG screen, had it for about 8 months before the ghosting got severe enough to warrant a replacement. It was replaced by a Samsung, but while the Samsung IS warmer, it also seems to be more color accurate after calibration (I work in print design).
