people say they've done it.

can someone pelase tell me steps to make it look like the lg?

You can use the screen calibration tool accessible through

System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate...

adjusting the white balance of the display may push the colors towards the "cool" end of the spectrum (which is the difference you are seeing. The LG displays are a cooler white, and the Samsungs a warmer white). In the end though, there is only so much you can do. It will always be warmer than the LG screen.

I started with an LG screen, had it for about 8 months before the ghosting got severe enough to warrant a replacement. It was replaced by a Samsung, but while the Samsung IS warmer, it also seems to be more color accurate after calibration (I work in print design).

Hope this helps, good luck.

i assme i have to turn the expert mode on? or is that not necessary

and from your professional stand point, the samsung produces more accurate virbant colors?

Few months ago, people were desperating and crying in this forum whenever they got a LG instead of a Samsung display, even if the LG didn't have issues. Now, people want to get either the new version of LG or to calibrate their Samsung to look like the LG... Doesn't it sound funny? :D

I guess this is the human being nature.... The seven deadly sins...

not trying to be a dick...but

not sure why u keep spawning threads about the retina screen?
maybe can just continue it on the existing ones...

and also, it is unwise for others to keep feeding you answers when theres existing post...just need to search for it.
