Hey, guys. A few weeks ago, my wife spilled water on her 2011 MacBook. The keyboard immediately went out. I connected a USB keyboard to it, and then set up my extra bluetooth keyboard. Both have worked properly without a hitch.
The other day, the battery died. A few hours later, I turned it on and FileVault asked for my password. However, suddenly, about half the keyboard letters stopped working (I can only use the numbers, B, E, F, G, J N, O, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z).
What I find strange is that when I restart the computer (cmd R) and use Safari (what I´m doing now), all the keys work.
I´ve also tried turning off the FileVault password by turning off the computer after waiting 1 minute on the password screen. and I tell it to turn off FileVault, it starts to do it and then says wrong password. However, it is not the wrong password.
I am running El Capitan.
