I have 2 sets of those spherical glass external speakers which came linked in pairs and were used with the "Lamp Type" G4 iMacs.
Those Macs which came with a 15" or 17" flat display on the top linked by a flexible tubus to the half round big bottom computer part.
The 2 linked speakers had a common special pin type stereo connector only working with those Macs AFAIK.
I understand they are passive type with no built-in amplifier to be seen.
(There was in those years also a mono speaker also transparent but with a more elaborate shape I do not have).
Is there a way to replace that special connector with an usual stereo mini jack to be able to connect them to modern computers?
If someone knows how to do it I am very thankful for your input.
