I'be been wanting to know this as well. I just bought a 4K tv and the highest input is HDMI 2.0 - 3840 X 2160 @ 60Hz...

Unless the new rMBP has HDMI 2.0 I highly doubt it. Apples site states 30Hz, but leave it to Apple to under clock a performance piece for a future firmware update. At this time I would assume no...

I'm still rocking my 2007 iMac!!! Time to update . . . MAYBE, but it still performs INCREDIBLY WELL!
