We have an Airport Extreme in one end of our house with our internet connection. At the other end of the house we have a desktop without a wireless network card. We also have a USB printer there. I am wondering if we can hook an airport express to the computer with only the Ethernet port and have it link with the airport express to share the internet connection.

Is this possible.

Airport Extreme --------> Wireless (with internet connection) ------> Airport Express -----> Ethernet ----> Computer

Sure can. You would set up the Express to extend your network and plug the non-wireless computer into its Ethernet port. The printer would go into its USB port and be available to all computers on the network.

just make sure you get a new "N" version (came out Feb 08), instead of an older "B/G" version off ebay or somwhere.

the B/G's won't do that. although the did make some good music for their time.:D

Just picked one up, $69.99 CDN :) . Will set it up when I get home tonight. Thanks guys.
