I just wanted to find out from people who've owned the Apple brand leather cases and have an active lifestyle (gym, running, etc.): can you wash the case with soap and water?

Just wanted to know if the leather will absorb junk/germs and smell bad after awhile. I know this isn't a problem with the Apple silicone cases, which is my first choice right now unless the leather one can work equally well.

Thanks in advance!

the outside could be washed but i would suggest doing it too much as it might wear out. i think an iphone 6 armband might be a better option

I don't do the armband thing. Looks like I'll just go for the silicone case as long as it doesn't stick to your pocket.
