I run my components into a Denon AVR-x2500h receiver. All my other components have my preferred audio output level in the 51-53 range on the receiver. The AppleTV 4k is far weaker by default. I have to run it at 61-65 to have the same output level through my receiver.

I know the receiver remembers settings, but this annoys me. I am hoping some menu allows a boost to the audio output level.

Anyone know of something?

I’m having this same issue only with ATV. All other inputs are fine but via the receiver it’s super quiet. I need to turn it up far more than any other device.

Loads of posts about this surely Apple can boost the output volume some how it’s terrible and completely different to all other devices.

I wonder if the newer model does this. You would think there would be an HDMI standard for the output level.
