Just curious because i went on a trip to a area where i had the phone say no service so while i was resting i went to clean my phone so i took the bumper off and i was surprised to see i had 1 bar of service. I put the bumper back on and after a few min it went down to no service again, with that i left the bumper off while i was away.

You most likely just had bad reception in that area you were in.

I had a carbon fiber case that dropped your reception from 3 bars to zero. Did it over and over, even in different locations
