Is it OK to use the charging doc of iPhone for charging a Nano Ipod? I did that today and it fit right in and it did not warn me not to disconnect as it does if I connect it to my computer. I could have used the iPod while charging, it looked like, but I did not. It worked OK but before I do that again I thought I will check with the experts here just so I do not do any damage to my nano.

I can't see it hurting the nano, the dock is only a piece of plastic with a spot for the dock connector to fit in, and one into the device.

They both use the same parts, so I'd be fine using doing it.

Yes, all generation Ipods and the iphone use the same plug bro.
It wont be a prob at all.
I charge my Ipod nano all the time at the iphone dock.

Yes, it can be used. In fact, I have around 6 iPods that all work in one dock, since I have a universal, and constantly am switching the plastic holders.

I just plugged my first gen nano into the dock and it started to charge. Now, trying to charge my iphone with anything else has been a pain in the ass...

I use my dock to charge iPhone, my cousin's nano, and all my friend's iPods when they are over. They like to mooch
