Can the current MacBook Air drive 2 external monitors?

My wife has a 2019 MacBook Air (base model) with the 2x USB-C/TB ports. If I get separate adapters to connect a monitor to each port, is the MBA powerful enough to extend her MBA to 2 external screens? Thanks!

Yes: Up to two external displays with 4096-by-2304 resolution at up to 60Hz

Edit: If one of the monitors supports power out over USB-C you shouldn't need any extra adapters...

Thank you. I have 1 adapter that does not carry power (that works great). Just ordered a 2nd adapter that this time has power as well to add a 2nd external monitor. But the monitors are older and don't have USB-C.
