I'm trying to Xfer some files from school to home with my iPhone but it only comes up in windows as a camera not a storage device.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks

I believe my old iPod classic 60gb could and also my iPhone 2g could also if I recall correctly....

You can get an app like Air Sharing to be able to use it as a Wi-fi hard drive, but not as a hardwired one I am afraid. Just kept a flash drive on my key ring instead.

Hmm. Sadly I have no wifi here oh well.

Are you jailbroken? Look in Cydia for USB Drive, if not use Dropbox.

Or email your self the files?

You don't recall correctly. The iPhone has never been able to do that - only iPods, unfortunately (except iPod touches).

My iPad is jailbroken, I'll try it on that.
Obv my phone isn't, it's the 4S

The iphone has never been able to do that?? I'm pretty sure I could with a jailbreak app.
