Just curious cause its so thin. i have the 5 and i can easily put it on its side on a flat surface if I want to record something cause its thicker...

is the 6 plus similar? Will it stand on its side on a table etc?

the edges on the side are curved. it can't rest on its side.

lol i just looked and the edges are curved but so is my iphone 5 and it still stands on its side... I like to use my phone to record lifts in the gym and it's important to me that it can stand on its side without having to use a tripod etc...

so neither the 6 or 6 plus can stand on its size? I just looked at the pic and it looks like it's too slim to stand on its thinness... nothing to do with the edges. Am I right?

Any more input? I am so annoyed if it can't stand on its side to record like my iphone5!

No, the sides of the iPhone 5 are flat.

The iPhone 6/6+ does not have a flat side.

And yes, it's too thin to stand on its side even if it was flat anyway.

You'll need something like this

Use the charging brick that comes with your iPhone as the stand. Place the female side face down and rest your iPhone between the male parts. No case or special stand needed.

Th iPhone 5/5S is not curved at all. It has a small bevel. Like the above poster said, use the wall charger as a stand or get a Spigen case with integrated stand or the ones that use a credit card as a stand.

Slightly off topic but whoever put that screen protector on failed.

How so? The iPhone 6 has a curved screen, I haven't found a screen protect that curve down the the sides of the screen.

That's a Spigen Glass screen protector. It covers the actual screen, except the bezels.

It doesnt even cover the whole screen surface area though, my screen protector gets pretty close right to the edges, its a ghost armor screen protector, had it installed at the kiosk at my local mall by one of the Ghost Armor guys and they did it with a heatbox also. But Since you have a glass screen protector which is why it is like that

I;ve seen plenty of films that are the same way. Yes, it covers the entire SCREEN area( The are you are referring to looks a LOT bigger in the pic then in reality ), just not all the bezel areas. I have no issue with it.

Some of of you are just downright rude. So what that it seems obvious to you; it wasn't obvious to him. That's why he asked the question in the first place.

You could of course just bend the phone slightly and hey voila, one iPhone able to stand on its side :) (sorry, was just joking)
