I have it plugged into my mac but it not functioning unless bluetooth is turned on. The reason I want to use it "like a normal wired keyboard" is it's not pairing quickly enough after boot camp switches between macos and windows. I am having to open my macbook and enter my vault password..

any ideas? thanks in advance.

As far as I know, the USB port on that keyboard is for charging only. Maybe try power cycling the keyboard to get it to pair faster on reboot. Or try pairing with different profiles on Windows compared to MacOS. You probably need to do that anyway. The keyboard allows up to 3 profiles.

this is blutooth only. the micro usb is for charging only.

BT only. I own two, home and office. Set one OS to one BT profile/button and the second OS to another BT profile/button.

I have no issues with either OS seeing my K811. My GF uses a K811 with a Mac and a PC (Win 10) - I asked her for advice, she offered that both the K810 and K811 are sensitive to other electrical devices and I'll agree with that in that I keep my trackpad and cables at least 8 inches away as Logitech recommends; she also offered that installing the Logitech SetPoint software for the K810 works wonders too. Hope this helps!
