Can the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad be wired to mac mini?

Looking to replace my old numeric apple keyboard. Can the Magic Keyboard be used in wired mode with mac mini?

Yes. You'd plug the lightning end of the cable into the keyboard and the USB end into one of the Mini's USB ports. This also is how you recharge the keyboard. You can leave it plugged in all the time if you prefer.
