Can the New Macbook/Macbook Pro use 8gb of RAM without any hiccups??

What the titles saids, anyone who has the new macbook/macbook pro want to test it out?

I know the SR mb/mbp can use the 8gb of RAM but I hear it gives trouble/problems and it does not really fully addresses the 8gb.

If this from ifixit is true, the new models use a 32 bit chipset, so will be permanently stuck at 4GB.
