Can the store hold an order?

We're abroad until the 23rd - when I go to order phones & watch the only option offered is ship or pickup on sept 16. Is there no way to have them hold my order at the store for a week?

If you already paid for it, it should sit for a week or two. If you reserved to buy in store, and didn't pay, that stock gets returned to inventory at the EOD. (At least last year it was like this, I was working there at the time)

Good to know. Would the 14 day window start from the 16th or when we actually pick up?

Should be from when you pick up, but you'd do better to get the answer from Apple at the time you pick up.
