iPhone XR Can the T-Mobile XR be unlocked for any carrier?

For the XR line (or even XS and XS Max for that matter), are there still separate GSM and CDMA versions? I was wondering if the T-Mobile version, if fully paid, can be unlocked for any of the big US carriers. Thanks!

Absolutely! Pay it off and have it unlocked.

Cool thanks. In the past, I could only unlock my T-Mobile iPhone for use with GSM carriers such as AT&T. Being able to unlock also for Verizon and Xfinity is good news.
