Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a leather flip case for my iPhone 5. A lot of them feature a closing mechanism such as this one:

Considering that the edges of the iPhone 5 are one of it's weak points, I'm wondering if this closing mechanism might be able to damage the top edge of the phone (over time). Seeing as the closing hinge will rub the top of the phone everytime you open or close it.

Does anyone have expierence with a case that features such a closing mechanism? Has the top edge of the phone shown wear over time?

Thanks in advance.
