Good afternoon all. I joined this group after going through the most bizarre situation involving my iphone. I am hoping someon can shed some light on "how" this could happen. I use Yahoo mail on my iphone6. I recently saw that the draft folder indicated 1 draft, so I looked to see what it was. I discovered a draft email, (noone listed in the "to" or copy boxes) with a sexually explicit subject line. The body of the email read, "Hi, my name is Mike and I'm . . . (use your imagination to fill in the blank). It also appeared to be soliciting a sexual encounter with someone (no specific name). I had a friend use a software program (Drfone) to extract data from my phone in order to see if we could determine when or how it could have gotten on my phone, but there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever that my phone had visited any singles, dating, or pornographic websites.

Does anyone here anve ANY idea whether it is possible for someone to to take control of my, create a draft email, and do so in a manner that would avoid detection?

Any insight at all would be helpful.

Draft emails are saved on the yahoo mail server, not your phone. Some pervert has hacked your yahoo login credentials and has access to your email account. Dump Yahoo (now owned by Verizon/Oath). It's the most insecure and deepest data mining email service in existence.

Thank you for the reply. However, the draft ONLY existed on my phone and NOT in my Yahoo webmail folders. That's why I am so baffled by this. Seems like someone HAD to have gotten into my phone.
