The only thing that can actually speed up your internet connection is... Speeding up your internet connection. There are internet accelerators out there that crawl links on web pages and cache them so it loads pages you may click on quicker, but no software can speed up your internet connection.

Misconfigured software, either on your computer or on a networking device, could cause slowdowns, however.
